Ok i Know we have had this reported time and time again but I would just like people to be aware of their rights.. I have had a caller from Sky Knock on my door asking if i wanted to buy Sky plus - As it happens I have sky but not plus he made a definate effort to get in to see my TV set up. I refused and sent him on his way But my neighbour who is in korus Legit was asked if her system went down on friday and he still got in to look at the set up !! Why would he want to see that?? there is only one reason - To Identify illegal boxes. So Beware You Do not have to let any one in to your house!! Fact!
So where are you based? I know that a guy i know cancelled his sky subscription and they rang him a few times quizzing him about why he'd left.
In Cork Area- I thik that the phone call is just Basic marketing strategy afterall they would probably offer him a discount or something over the phone to keep him sweet..
