I dont ahte it,I think the sillyness of some of their priporitoiry schemes is what hurts them more than anything else adding onto the price and jackign up roylties also hurt it if PSP UDM moives were 8-13 new I think it would have been a hit but 15-25 for a mini movie is stupid.
Sony should have just went with a DVD setup it that and a 2nd nub would have made the PSP perfect you have alot more sales just for the travel dvd playerness of it and then people would buy a game now and then to just try it ,its a win win....sony rarely thinks things fully threw.

Now look at the PS3 it has all its bases covered but PS1-2 con ports and a onboard mem card slot for PSX1-2 thats jsut being cheap with a 500+ system not to mention the lack of HDMI cables if they took the PS3 and broke it apart core 300, HD +50-80,HDMI 150-200, jsut made it upgradeable to the needs of the people they would have won from the start the way the PS3 is now its going to take 2-4 years to be number 1 or something like it.

 

lair is gonna suck, for 2 reasons. it hasn't got a online and the story line is gonna suck.

 

how can you back this up? factor 5 has had decent sotrylining, and with a game like this im sure they have hired many people or had people signed on by sony to help. lair will pwn.

 

yeah id have to agree with anubis. theres no telling just yet. from the trailers, lair looked pretty epic, and a really good looking adventure game. and who doesnt like epic games? they truly make you feel like a hero. good stuff.

 

I know its not what any one is talking abut but since the tittle says its about it so here goes;
Bill Gates has said that Its primary comp in the 7thn gen will be the Wii and he said he is suprised sony isnt on their back he also said it will be a though time as Nintendo Has the Ds whihc has rocketed in sales since its launch and now has a Twin Brother like console the Wii whihc so far looks the same as the Ds in terms of sales.

The Wii has hit the 3.8 million mark in under 2 months according to wiki Ps3 is just over 1 million
and 360 is on 9.5aprx so once wii sales die donw from launch id expect it to surpass the 360 around December 07 but what am i to say Ps3 is launching aswell

 

How soon are we to forget that the PS3 hasn't had a full launch yet.Bill Gate say anything just like Kaz .

 

I don't think BG is that stupid, he must had some market info delivered to him, i don't think Europe is going to be that great, people in europe don't like to waste money just like that, i say it will be a boost of 500k to 1 million units at most in the first 2 o 3 month

 

Thats what I said Ps3 hasnt launched but looking at numbers from where it has to that certian region in the Wii sales the Wii is beating the Ps3 in Every Region maybe thats how he knows?
Also whats funny is When something happends he like craps himself not just him its a normal thing we all do when we get into a bit or a lot of trouble, have you ever heard bill gates say that His company is under heavy comp and him say positive things about the DS sure hes more nice to Big N then sony is but thats too freaky what im thinking he preparing for the worst so if the Wii outsells the 360 he can just say I told you that it might happend

It's sort of ironic that it came from Tokyo TV though. The 360 doesn't have a prayer as far as Japan sales are concerned.

 

It may soon have more hope.

I hate to be the bearer of bad new PS fans... but MGS 1, 2 and 3 are being REMADE for the 360, in Konami's New 'X' department.

It says it in the article (and your quote), he's "co-found of id Software and a pioneer in the games industry", and I'm pretty sure his name carries more weight than most people here, at least in the gaming industry.
