I have a Soltek, SL-85 mainboard only supporting 266MHZ. I have one memory stick of 256MB@266 in it. Can I put it together with a stick 256MB RAM@400? I would guess it would take the lowest one, so 266? I'm just a bit scared it would give conflicts. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]P4 1.8Ghz, 512MB RAM, GeForce Creative Ti4400[/small]
You can put both of them in but the one running at 400 would only run at 266 as your mobo only supports upto this.
Thanks for the reply. I will put them together and see if it counts up. Than I will play Doom 3 as a test. If it doesn't give (memory) errors I think I can assume it works? _X_X_X_X_X_[small]P4 1.8Ghz, 512MB RAM, GeForce Creative Ti4400[/small]
Well you should run it for a week then if no problems it will most likely be ok. Try a few different games aswell.
Well my opinion is the same as RedAnt. When starting to play, I was surprised by the gameplay. Very creepy and dark game. Another way of playing with that flashlight. I didn't finish yet, and it still don't bother me playing, but ...it's always the same...room in room out...
