I'm a total noob to PC gaming. I know there is no way in hell that I am running Crysis on my PC. I am not looking to do that. Sometimes I get bored, and just need a good game that will pass time as I play multilayer. I have never played Halo 1 or 2 (besides a demo). I just want to play Halo 2 on my PC. According to Can You Run It? my computer meets the minimum requirements of the game, yet I fail 2 of the recommended requirements (see below for details). According to windows game adviser, I can run Halo 2 flawlessly. However, when I search the net, multiple sources cite that in order to play the game, you should meed the recommended requirements. Other websites say that my computer can't run games. I am able to run the Halo: Combat Evolved demo, and GTA: San Andreas fairly well. Does anyone else with this PC know the answer to this question? Does anyone else have a similar problem help me? Does anyone have an answer to this question? Help me please. Recommended: DX9 graphics card: WDDM driver, PS 3.0/32BPP, At least nVidia 7800 or ATI x1800 or above You Have: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE (GeForce 6150 LE) FAIL: Sorry, your video card does not meet this recommended requirement. Upgrading to a more powerful video card will make all your applications look better. Click the 'We Recommend' button to see some great options. Video Card Features - Minimum attributes of your Video Card Video RAM: Required - 256 MB , You have - 128 MB
your vram is 128, is 256 recomended or minimum? if 256 is minimum then that is the problem, get a card with minimum 256 ram. simple. remember, if you fail on minimum requirements, these you HAVE to upgrade.
in that case, it could be failing on the pixel shader or vertex shader of the graphics card. if your graphics card meets these requirements too then you should be able to play the game, if you haven't tried to play the game yet, i'd recommend getting the demo to see if it works, because it appears you have the min specs to me.

as long as he's got pixel shader vertex shader and vram, the game should work shouldn't it? that's like saying the games ea make are for radeon 9700 but not for mobility, and mobility works fine. (radeon 9700 just an example)
spec says at least a nVidia 7800 & his is nVidia GeForce 6150 LE which going by the numbering sequence is below spec requirements.
