can any macbooks play blu ray yet?

    im just wondering because my dad has one and he says his can play blu ray

    Not out of the box no. Apple don't yet ship blu-ray drives in any machine.
    He possibly has a USB drive, not sure though if there is any playback software though.

    Hey,

    I would imagine he most likely has a blu-ray drive that he bought. Or perhaps he uncovered some way to read a blu-ray but I don't know if that is possible. Ask him how he is doing it. If he figured out a way I'd like to know about it. hahahaha
