can anyone help flashed starview3 with gtrom-705 firmware but nothing changed-

you just press download at the bottom it's an all in one firmware program you don't use crypstar.

 

what's happening when you turn it on. what's the problem?

 

i dont think cryptstar is right for starview 3,it is used for starview 1,u can brick ur box by flashing wrong firmware.
the three boxes by starview are
starview
the box
box super
hint read label on front cover!
and reflash with gtrom-705 for box super only and rescan and emu to on

 

have re-flashed with gtrom-705 still cannot find emu page
what bin file should i use- thanks for help

to find the EMU, simply press menu then 1 5 7 0 this should bring it up!

 

tried 1570 after menu still cannot get emu i get about 400
channels but most with dollar$ signs ,tried factory settings
when i flashed the % was showing on stb

Press menu first , then press 1570 and you should get a pop up CAS Menu , the last option is the EMU and it should be ON

Your first post is confusing as all you need is 7.05??

This is new box, i never tried to updated any firmware.

 

Well if it is a new box and you have not flashed it, then that is your problem, until you have flashed the box, then there is no way in the world that you will get into the Cas System Menu to turn on the EMU.
