I have software on my console but I want to play on xbox live, I know people who play live with softmodded consoles and I want to go live too. Can anybody please help me how to do that? Thanx
If you have a dash installed on your Xbox that isn't the Xbox dashboard then your softmod that you installed most likely changed your Network Settings from Automatic to Manuel in which you can't change unless you restore the MS Backup.
u can change it back im running the unleashed dash i dont turn it off at all i just changed the settings of my ip from static to dhcp and it connected me but u cant do it with a crystal xbox

I also have a simalar problem i soft modded my xbox with sid 2 and used splinter cell to acces the linux and i am using an evolution x dashboard. i dont know why but i try to connect and it just says xbox live not responding can someone help us please?
It's possible that your softmod changed your Network Settings so you just got to go into settings on the Microsoft dashboard and switch it from manuel to automatic.
i cant get to microsoft dash board evolution x skips over the ms dashboard but i can get my ms dashhboard back but it involves me to delete and restore my ms backu. any ideas? i think possibly it is because i installed evox on c drive?
