Can anyone help me with this game???? Been waiting...................

I have a slight problem with NCAA March Madness 2008 for PS2. I rip, burn, and successfully start the game, but it will freeze at the loadup screen right before I try to play a game. I can change settings, pick teams, go through the rosters, but I just cant play a game? Anyone have this problem, or know what I can do?

I use:
dvd-r Verbatim 8x
Roxio, latest version
Windows XP

Please help, and let me know what I can try.....

UPDATE:
After a few hours of coming up with ideas.....I was able to play a game in Dynasty Mode only, and when I paused the game to change a setting or sub a player in it read "Screenshot Substitutions". Also, during the game the stats would appear in a weird combination of letters and numbers. When I tried to change a play, the box of plays was blank. I've never seen this before, and it seems like the game is missing data.

I used dvdfab to clone the dvd to an iso the second time around, and burned it with roxio.

If anyone has any ideas, please share. Thanks!

 

i would suggest dl'n zoneloader and burning that then use ur swap method from sm to zl to game see if that works.. i had a prob w/ madden 07 always froze at start screen got zl and it allows it to play
