Hi all, This is probably a silly problem but am new to the whole DVD authoring scene. I can burn my movies to DVD+RW No problem...and play them back just as good. Today i bought a spindle of 50 DVD-R's and can also Burn movies to them...but cant watch them. All my DVD player reject the disc..My PC will play about 4 secs then stop. Any ideas what could be causing this problem?? My burner is a LiteOn 8X DVD+R / RW Drive. Thanks Netz
The -R and +R DVDs are two totally different types of discs. My guess would be your player and burner don't like the -R format. We really need more information. Can you post your make and model numbers? The media (disc) brand name? What burning program you used? The burn speed you used? With the above information we'll be able to better evaluate your problem and help you find a fix.
Well, DVD Writer Totally Packed In..2 Days Old. Bought a new one..an Emprex DVD Dual 16X.. Everything working fine now.. Netz
Had 16x lite-on, nothing but problems, Bought Sony dvd rw dru 710a and have been so happy. Only a suggestion.
