Can burned games cause this??

    Red ring of death??? One of my 360 got it after i tried to play it then froze and bam red ring. tried the disc on other modded xbox of mine and works fine. What could of happened??

    either you burned your disk at the wrong speed or it was just your 360s time to go. just be assured that it is in a better place now.

    I think your GPU just lost it's full connection or in other words your 360 has just died like a lot do. Burned games won't cause rrod the only thing they can cause is a bad laser in your drive. You can either:

    Send it to MS if the warranty sticker is still intact (or buy a sticker from ebay once the case isn't too damaged)

    Do the x-clamp replacement

    Reflow (expensive)

    I don't know if from that you can say that it is the gpu, but obviously, it was just its time to go. Burned games don't cause it.

    Yeah, It was more than likely the GPU but it did die from a hardware failure.

    how on earth are you guessing its a gpu failure?

    Because every xbox I've repaired or attempted to repair it was always GPU related, even 0110 RAM error was the GPU connection to the RAM because x-clamp replacement fixed it.
