Can Cucusoft convert encrypted DVDs?

I recently bought a generic brand DVD to ipod converter. I was highly disappointed because the software could not convert 90% of my home DVD collection. The reason is because most DVDs are encrypted or protected in some way. I am debating whether to buy cucusoft DVD converter, and I was wondering if it can convert protected DVDs to MPEG4 or MP4 format.
