can dvd shrink handle HD?

    hi. I have a 8Gb 1080p video, and i would like to shrink it to fit on a dvd. If i do this, will the dvd still output 1080p resolution?

    DVD Shrink only works on DVD files - that is files that are already in DVD format in standard DVD Movie file arrangement.
    DVD format is SD and typically 720x480 resolution (720 x 576 if it's PAL).

    You might try AvsToDVD and select the disk size output you need.
