can firmware hack harm your systems in any way

    just wondering if having hacked firmware and playing burnt games can do any harm to you system in the long run?

    no, software cannot damage hardware (well realistically) the only damage is done by 'bricking' your drive with a bodged FW flash.

    So no aside from M$ hausing you problems later on there is no detrimental effect known.
