I just bought a new laptop and it comes with Windows XP installed on it. But I want to do a clean install so I can get rid of all the extra junk that is installed at the factory.

So my question is...Can I make a disc that will let me do a clean install of Windows XP? And if I can do this how do I do it?

    THX ahead of time

And oh yea....the laptop does have a cd burner but no floppy drive.

Im looking for a method to backup Windows XP...similar to the way you would go about backing up Windows 95 or 98. You know....by burning the cab files. Is there a similar method i could use for Windows XP?
