Can I Backup My PS2 Games Using DVD Shrink and Roxio DVD Creator?

    Hey guys, just a quick question. I have backed up all my DVD movies using DVD Shrink and Roxio DVD Creator 6, I am just wondering if it is possible to backup my PS2 games using the same programs and the same process.

    Basically use DVD Shrink to get rid of the region code, then back it up on my hard drive then burn it to disc.

    Will this process work? Please help me a.s.a.p.

    no.
    Dvd shrink is ONLY for movies.
    Roxio sucks (I'm surprised your movies even work).
    You MUST have a mod to play burnt ps2 games.

    Haven't had a problem with even 1 movie using Roxio. All play well and have excellent picture quality. WHy what program would you suggest to burn to disc?

    just use dvd decrypter in mode-iso-read, mode-iso-write.

    Do you mean use decryptor for burning movies or games? Or both.....

    i know this isnt the right thread but can you do that with xbox games as well so you dont have to ftp them?

    okay quick Q... u said DVD decryptor for PS2 backups... is there a way to shrink them yet??? or do u need to get a duel layor DVD burner???

    you can shrink them, but its difficult.
