hello! i got a friend who has pc and he ask me if he install a dvd burner it will work properly because he dont know the minimum syst req for dvd-r/rw. system sepcs: shutle barebone pc: amd duron 1.6ghz fsb 200 264 kb l2 cache 512 ddr pc-2100 (266mhz) sis vga 306 64mb agp 4x western digital 40gb 5200 rpm ide thx in advance
Should be OK, as long as there is enoguh room on the hard drive >18Gb. Maybe a little slow at number crunching, but should cope with it............
@Dr.xp - you're welcome, how's it going; saw a couple replies on the overclocking amd 2800 athlon xp' thread over the last couple o' days, the thread's still hanging in there. I daren't start looking any further in the PC-related forums, i'll never come up for air or go to work. I'm trying to restrict myself to the DVD burning areas for now
