i download films off kazaa but the framerates are all different can i change say a movie with fps 14.970 to a fps 29.970 i know the audio will be out of sync but could i fix that as well. please help
Yes you can, but I haven't tried it myself. In VirtualDub, under "Video\Frame Rate Control" you will see 'Frame Rate Conversion'. "Change To [.......] Frames Per Second". Try typing in 29.97 and see what happens. Yes, this will probably screw-up your a/v sync, so why not just use TMPGEnc like I suggested in that other post? I *know* that works !! It works for either .avi or .mpg files. -- Mike --
