Can i change the xbox static IP?

    I was having trouble ftping into my xbox but i finally done it and my static ip adress on the xbox has reset to 0.0.0.0

    Anybody know if i can change this.Its in Blue writing and i cant seem to change it and all the rest is in white which i can change.

    Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

    Also do you have to be online while ftping into xbox??

    Are you using EvoX as your dash?

    I don't use EvoX anymore, but still have it and use it on occasion.. my network settings are like this..

    [Network]

    SetupNetwork = Yes
    StaticIP = Yes
    Ip = 192.168.0.7
    Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
    DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
    DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
    SetupDelay = 0
    SkipIfNoLink = No

    Make sure your StaticIP is set to Yes, then you should be able to change your IP to whatever you want. Also, make sure you scroll down to the bottom and choose Save and Exit when you are done.

    No, you don't have to be online when FTP-ing.
