I have some ISO's of DVDs that I recently "acquired". Is there anyway I can check if it is encoded in PAL or NTSC before I burn it? I burned a few that I "acquired" before and my DVD player told me that the TV systems didn't match because it was PAL. Same goes for movies that come in the form of VOB files. Is there anyway to check those too?

Acquired....If that DOESNT mean what I think it does, you could simply look at the original packaging. Otherwise, I would suggest mounting the image on a virtual drive and checking that way.

NVM I mounted the image and used dvd decrypter and it told me the region encoding.

Actually...I meant open the virtual drive and look for the SCUS or SCES...Thats the easiest way to tell.

Edit: Sorry....Thought the thread read differently, this is only applliable to game ISO's.
