HI, I have just downloaded an audio file in WMA format, and when I tried to play it in Windows Media Player a license requirement came up - when u click on the link on the Microsoft page it is sweet to play. However, when I try to convert this file to MP3 to match the rest of my collection, it won't let me do it, not in either my Ace-High or ImToo converters - they both say the license is needed. Is there a way I can do this? Any help appreciated.
I'm trying to convert some WMA protected files to MP3 format but with no success. I tried burning an image of the WMA's onto my hard dirve and trying ripping that image but it still says that the files are protected. can anyone help me out here? How the heck can you get that protection off?
