Hi all, Does anyone know how to convert a standard divx movie so i can watch it via a USB drive attached to my starview 4 ? I use an external caddy to record to from starview but can seem to get it to play any standard avi's ?? Any help would be grateful Thanks H
I don't know what format the starview box saves it's video data as and until ( I personally ) that's known I could not say. I'm sure the info is out there but if not plug your caddy into the PC and inspect a tv show you recorded using a program such as gspot ( google it, but put safe search on ). That will give you video, audio and codec information. Then you know what format your box is using and maybe you can convert to that. I expect however that the box writes other information with each program that enables it to index and replay it so it might be more than just a conversion issue.
