Can i convert vlc files to play on cd player?

is there a progarm available to convert vlc file mp4 to a format supported to a stand alone cd player thank you

 

You can use the VLC 'Wizard' to demux the audio as a .wav file.
ImgBurn can convert/burn the file to an audio CD.
