I JUST BOUGHT A DVD DRIVE ( LITEON ). I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN COPY A DVD MOVIE - PS2 DVD GAME, USING JUST 1 DVD DRIVE OR DO I NEED A SECOND DRIVE.. THE DVD DRIVE I HAVE SUPPORTS ALL DVD FORMATS BUT IT DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT DVD-RECORABLE ON IT.... I HAVE A CDR DRIVE ALSO BUT IT ONLY SUPPORTS CDR'S NOT DVD'S. I HAVE TRIED TO COPY WITH NERO BUT IT DOESNT GIVE ME THE DVD OPTION IN THE WIZARD.. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME...

Oh, Oriphus, you are so astute. We'll make a republican out of you yet ;)
Anyway, assuming you have a DVD recorder. copy the original to your hard drive, preferably one with at least 10GB free. Then burn it to a DVD+/-R.

THANKS... DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT IS THE SAME PROCESS OF COPING A PS2 DVD-GAME AND COPING A REGULAR MOVIE DVD? AND IS THERE A WAY YOU CAN COPY A DVD OR PS2 GAME-DVD ON TO A CD-R OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE ONLY ON A DVD-R/RW? I'M USING NERO.....

you might want to hit the caps lock its kinda annoying. And there is a way to copyin a PS2 DVD game to a CD-R but its a complicated process and you have to delete a lot of the content i.e movies etc. Its much better to a DVD-R

Press caps button to get rid of the CAPITOLS!!

Movie copying is explained all over these forums. PS2 copying is explained in the PS2 forums very well. Basically, its a process of copy and paste at the min, you really should check the PS2 forums though.
