Can i get a new xbox???

Okay heres the question can i get a new xbox if my old xbox is modded and get on xbox live still and not have a evox or unleashx dashboard and have ms dashboard and can i still get on xbox live even with same router and use same wires (wires that connect to my xbox to my router) if u know tell me please
