I have had this In my head for some time now and wounder if it is possible. can you hook a 2nd pc to your main as a giant security system having programs installed like spyware sweepers, mailware sweeper, firewalls, ect. In this way all ram on your main pc is salvaged.
would this be possible with 2 screens and 2 pcs?
    T hanks in advance

What you're talking about is a hardware firewall, which is natively employed by most routers anyway. More ram is used by windows's primary functions than by 3 or 4 programs running passively in the background.

    *edit*
And there really is no point in putting up a whole second machine just to save some ram. Just add some ram to your main machine. A cheap, old computer would only slow yours down as it tries to scan your machine over the network.
