can i hook an external usb 2.0 hard drive to my xbox 360

    what my problem is the dvd drive is bad on the xbox 360 i want to play games from my external drive is that possible the xbox dvd drive is bad is there a cheap worl around for the drive also if u burngames does it have to be dual layer or is it possible to do it on a single layer dvd-r
