hi everyone well thanks to you guys on afterdawn ive now normalize my tracks thankyou, now is there a way to listen to the tracks on my mp3 player in the order i want to hear them, because every time i put tracks on mp3 player they are not in the order i want them, they seem to be from (A-Z)and not in the order i put them on so can you help please thanks again everyone
Depends on your mp3 player. If your play supports playlists, use them, that the only way I know to order tunes. You will need a sync app that supports play lists as well. I suggest Media Monkey but there are several great audio management apps. Check the top sticky in this forum.
If your player doesn't support playlist you will have to set them up on your computer the way you want them to play on your device, then when you select the files to move over to the device, highlight all the files and make sure you drag from the first file you want played, or if you right click to copy make sure you right click on the first file you want played. Otherwise your player will start playing the files from where you draged them or right clicked on them. Hope this helps
errmmm.. somebody has never heard of alphanumeric file ordering .. they will play in order of their titles or number order.. 1 10..19..2 etc.. or abcdef.. playlists are easy and vlc will allow you to make and save them (the proper linux one will anyway.. not sure about the abortion for windoze) .. it's real easy to make up a .m3u file by hand anyway.. open one sometime and have a look at the structure,.. absolute path isn't necessary if the files are all in the same directory with the playlist.
we is selling pirate encyclopedias and dictionaries.. full volume sets.. from r to R I think I hit his problem tho.. it's in the file names or tags the player is reading.. which are both so easy to solve it's almost a nobrainer.. rename and/or change the tags.. either way mission achieved.
Yes, agreed, if there are no play lists the order is file name. It is not a no-brainer if you do not know. Many don't notice how the files are listed alphabetically.
