I have an 80 gigabyte PS3 with emulated backwards compatibility. I just downloaded a file with an .iso and a .mds file. I was wondering if there was any way that i could burn this to a dvd and play it on my PS3? If so, could someone tell me how?

The swap switch may work, but not sure as it requires you to open up your PS3. Check the tutorial threa on it.

    1.) Multiple threads? Dumb.

    2.) Search. It's a friend.

3.) You can't unless you use that Swap Switch method that bigo suggested. And if you want to do that, you'll need to know some basic soldering techniques, as well as have an out-of-warranty PS3 or don't care for the warranty. The only other option right now is to use USBAdvance, which you can find a few threads on if you use the search function above.

    Kaj,

    1) Give the kid a break and chill out. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.
    2) Nobody should ever become a senior member by simply shouting people down on replies.
    3) You sir, are an arse.

1.) Jonathon Swift would disagree with you.

2.) I didn't. I professed my irritation at him for not bothering with basic guidelines, and then offered my advice.

On a related note, I also think the whole "Senior Member/Newbie/Member" deal is a bit ridiculous. Like you said, someone could just shout people down on replies and if they get enough posts, they're Senior Members.

    3.) Yes, I am.

Nah, Swift would be on my side - he was a Satirist...

...but I'll give you five points for the namecheck.
In all seriousness, I'm an avid Afterdawn reader and whilst duplicate threads and silly questions can be annoying, I do like to think that we're all here to help each other.

5 points yourself for the smooth comeback.

And yeah, there's nothing wrong with offering help. I do it and I ask for it all the time here. We ARE all here to help each other... but that doesn't mean we can't give them a hard time while we're at it.

    :) Just sayin'.
