Ive got a psp 3.40oe and now im looking to find out if i can play cso's without using a umd game can someone pls help me with this Thanks
you now have custom firmware so yes you can play both cso's and iso's. To do this all u have to do is place your iso' and cso's in a folder named ISO, if u dont have one make one, make sure its in capitals, this folder goes in the root of your memory stick. and just to clarify the root of your memory stick is when you open up the memory stick and you can see all the folders like PSP,Video,Photos etc. Have fun!
oh sorry bout that, the answer to your question is no you cant play iso's and cso's without a game umd inserted so im afraid you need to get one den it shud work.

Its alright i just found it, i enabled 'use no umd', but still no luck, looks like il have to get a umd game from somewhere. thanks anyways
Note that without UMD, some games may not work even you enable the "No-UMD" option. Just buy one, $20 second hand.
God just pick up a cheap copy of anything,At the end of the day you'd think you would wanna buy some of the really good games,If every1 was like you the PSP would be dead,I got iso/cso,s but i still have 40 odd UMDs,Only the best ofcoarse like my precious (GTALCS V2 - Its a must have.
