Can I plug an IDE hard drive into a motherboard that takes sata?

    lol sorry im a bit of computer noob. So what your saying is that an IDE hard drive will plug straight in to that motherboard with no probs?

    tritty, should hook up with no problem & ide cable comes with motherboard if new motherboard
