I have captured my video to my PC (.avi), tested it (all plays great), converted it via WinAVI to VIDEO_TS and VTS files. I have burned it with Nero from there, but noticed it is choppy in some spots. Do you suggest I re-convert the .avi file? If so, is there a way to preview the converted file prior to burning? Thanks!
VSO DivxtoDVD will allow you to preview the conversion but I think your problem lies with the version of WinAVI that you're using as it's become a common problem with versions 7.1 and higher and ffdshow.
If the source file is normally, maybe you can change the "target format" in the advanced option for a try.I mean use WinAVI. wish useful
I have captured the video via Microsoft Movie Maker, and have converted .avi to dvd via WinAVI 7.1 and WinAVI 6.2 - both burned dvds had bad/blotchy video. Now, I am re-capturing the video with Nero 6, and will be trying to convert with Nero (if I can figure out how), and re-burn. I can't wait to get this figured out, this is a big pain in the ass. Anyone know if dvdSanta has the same issues as WinAVI with converting files, and having bad end-results? Thanks.
