i backed up most of my dvd's to dvd-r discs using clonedvd2, but i have came to a few dvd's that are 6 & 7.65gb. can i use dvdshrink or dvd decrypter to put these to 4.7gb dvd-r discs? if not, is there any way i can shrink a 7.65gb disc to a 4.7gb dvd-r? i would love some help here as i seem to have hit a stumbling block. thanks. P.S i right clicked the disk drive the disk wass in & it said decrypt with dvd decrypter, what does this do? cheers

Yes, U should be able to use CloneDVD or DVD shrink as that is what those programs are meant for, to make DVD-9s(DL disk) fit to DVD-5(4.7gb)
Here are a bunch of guides to do this
    http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/guides.htm

    Also here is one more
    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_copy_dvd_with_dvd_shrink_page_2.cfm

This puts the Movie onto ur HD,
But beaware that DVD decrypter cant handle the newer protections on newer movies.
Post back for any more ???
