can i put hd wmv files onto a dual layer dvd+r?

    i have a few hd wmv and bluray wmv files that are about 7.7 gigs just wondering if i can make an iso out of the file and burn it onto a dual layer dvd with imgburn? any help will be appreciated thanks

    i use to burn them as data...well use to til i got a 750gig external drive and now jsut stream them to my 360 well the wm9 files...only mkv files arent compatiable with it but a data disc should load fine in comps and watever reads that format

    i have my hd movies ripped to wmv hd movies also but when i try to burn them using ashampoo it says the files are too large and can't fit. So my question is can i overburn it? if so using what burning software.
