Is there a program that will allow me to remove an undesirable scene from a movie I plan to buy, and then recopy the movie to a new DVD without just this one scene? I really enjoy a movie like Trains, Boats and Planes, but dont want to own it and show to the kids with the f_ ing scene at the airport. Anyway to remove this one scene?
There are a numbe of movies I would buy if I could do this. Thanks

There certainly is such a program, 2 in fact, #1 is DVD Shrink a free download and #2 is NeroRecode2, you can also download trial version from here http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/nero-up.php you only need to download package 2. If you want guides on how to use them then come back.

you can but you will need to demux the audio and remux it after you delete the scene otherwise the audio is going to be out of sync.If the scene was at the start or finish that would be different but i think this one is somewhere in between so by altering the chapters the sound wont match when you re burn with out you touching up the audio

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I would like instructions on how to remove one scene,(in the middle of a chapter) and then reburn a DVD. I have Adobe Premiere for Video Editing, but it cannot edit MPEG files, and I do not know how to get the files off a DVD to find the offending scene, or how to do the remuxing your spoke of. Thank you!

That can also be done with dvdremake or ifoedit in most cases.
