i am uncompressing my audio in virtual dub so i can split it in tmpgenc but when i am in virtual dub the rate is soooo slow, it converts at a normal play time so a 90 minute movie takes 90 minutes, can i speed this up in virtual dub somehow??

it takes the same time as the movie....so a 90 minute movie takes 90 minutes, it is a slow painful process:( any tips???? you seem like the cd-r masta:)

Thats fast, lol. I spend 8 hours usually converting because i like SVCD. I dont use TMPGEnc for it though because TMPGEnc takes a helluva lot of time for SVCD! I've learned to accept how long it takes, by sleeping while its encoding :)
