I want to transfer my videos to DVDs. I know that I could have it done for money but can I do it alone by connecting my video machine to my computer? I have a DVD burner.
    Please answer!!

You need at least a video capture card and video editing software. If I were you, just buy a DVD recorder. You can get one as low as $150 now. Otherwise, check this forum instead: http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/126

Yes, you can and its rather easy.

A dvd recorder is nice but you dont have much choice over creative control, (bitrate, resolution, menus, chapters ect..)

The cheapest way to do it.....

    1. - A Pci tvtuner card (Ati tv wonder ve (cheap) .)
    2. - Good capture software (Ive tryed them all and WINDVR is the best)
    3. DVD authoring software (TMPGENC)

Have a blast and please ask more questions. The potential with more than videos exists with this tuner card too. TV shows, Video Games, Anything analouge video is easily transferrable to dvd.
