Ive been having problems recording DVD5's since upgrading to firmware version 1.0c on my Sony DRU-510A. How can I uninstall it and go back to version 1a? Or is that not possible?

You just flash an older firmware over it.

I had to put the old firmware back onto my 105. The new one just made it very unstable.

If you wanna go back to your old firmware, then you just flash back over like NiTCOM said.

You could also flash the latest firmware in which generally solves all the problems with your drive.

i'd recommend upgrading to the latest firmware rather than trying to 'go back'

Just reinstall an older version over the newer one. There is a version 1.0D out now - i've just upgraded too, perhaps that may be better?
