Can i Use my WIFI Max with my ps2?

hi everyone i realy wanted to know if i could use my wifi max(what i use for my ds to play online games) to connect my ps2 to the internet i heard you have to use a gaming adaptor and if thats true could someone tell me were i could find one in the u.k what shop and if thats not true how can i connect my ps2 to the internet with wifimax thanks
