it will take a little longer to load, as it will have to keep connecting to B.Band every time you switch back on also you will not get updates for new/or frequenzy changed channels coz thats done when its left in standby mode
hi if i only switch of my broadband router at nite, will it update new/or frequenzy changed channels the next morning when i turn on the router again? thanks
no, as its the box that scans the frequancies, but, if ya ask me, why leave it on? your using power and leaving something running constantly, I wouuld rathur wait for a couple of mins for it to connect to your bband, then having something worse like a bloody fire
also as mickah said if you do connect each day, when you connect and its back on, then put in standby for a few min and it will update that was
the only problem you get when putting it in standby mode is the next morning you get back all the unwanted deleted channels back so ive turned off the power mode like told to do by hooter and e45,and i just do a scan about once a week
thats good enough 1's a week also you will notice yourself if any of the channels you already have go missing
