Hello. I have two dvd players. One is philips 724 (portable), and the other is a philips dvdr3390. Can a dvd-r with video content in iso format be played on these? Kimmi
No DVD player can read an ISO file. An ISO is just an image file of whatever you are storing inside it. It is easier to make an ISO file of whatever you want to store. So you only have 1 file instead of all the multipul files that makes the DVD work. (VIDEO_TS FOLDER/IFO/BUP/VOB) When you burn an ISO onto a DVD your not truly burrning the ISO onto the DVD. You are burrning whatever is stored in the ISO file. The only way you will have trouble with a DVD player playing a DVD is if you burn the ISO as a data DVD. Which in that case when you view the files on the DVD it will still be an ISO file. But if you burn the ISO file as an image then when you view the DVD files on the DVD you will actully see the files that are contained in the ISO itself. (VIDEO_TS FOLDER/IFO/BUP/VOB.
