can nolonger play real dvd's but can play copies fine andcd's

    problem is that it try to open just come up no disk ive treid asking other but no answer yet how do i fix this problem ihave reloaded a player so i could get vso stil nothing need help

    This doesnt really sound like a Nero question. try asking your question again in the appropriate forum :)

    Hi fishmep,

    Could you be more specific as you can no longer play dvds and cds with nero? As ArCaine said from what your thread it is not clear if you are referring to nero showtime or any media in general.

    i'm not using nero i'm using power dvd 5 have used it for 7 months and then it quite playing dvd's but copies play fine
    i also have 1click dvd 4.3 a decypter from the same company and dvd43
    oh an a virus tojoin that right know where i'm at can't get my hand on a remover
    my computoer is from averatec 6200 and the dvd drive is a slimtype dvdrw+/- i have tried to reload the power dvd but nothing even some other porgrams
    good be the virus or What ?

    Ok got the situation now. The 1st reply was correct as you posted this in the nero forums and this should have gone to all other topics. Only thing I can suggest for you is to use the backup software that comes with the averatec 6200. Any files you put on there back them up to a cd or external drive and then do a system restore with the phoenix software (I think thats what its called).
