I must be a complete idiot on how to do this. I have roxio, anydvd,dvd shrink and clonedvd2. After anydvd does its analysis i leave it up on my desktop and go to clonedvd2 but it pops up that my sons dvd is copright protected dvd css. I have also tried dvd shrink, I must not be doing something correctly. please help and give step by step for dummies
When you use DVD Shrink, when do you get the error message: During the analysis or backup? Also, what's the dvd?
http://www.elby.ch/products/clone_dvd/manual/usage.html Once you have AnyDVD enabled, you will have a bright red fox head in your system tray, insert movie you want to back up, the fox head turns pink, then bright red again. AnyDVD has done it's thing. Then launch CloneDVD 2. Follow the guide from the link above. If AnyDVD has done it's thing, there's no way it can be read as css protected. Hope this helps you. Edit: To back up only the Movie without all the extra stuff, select copy DVD Titles.
