I am using nero express 6 and I have the TS-H552b burner. I have been burning at 2x speed because I thought I would get the best burn but everytime I try to burn at another speed it never completes the burn. If I burn at 4x it stops around 82%. The higher I set the speed the less it completes. I recently upgraded my firmware to the latest(TS12) and still the same problem. I am using Sony DVD-R. Could someone please help. Thanks in advance.
each burner has it's own problems with certain disks..... even with a firmware update. Try different media. I suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, those are the ony ones I burn to. Also if you're having a problem with the -Rs try the +Rs if your drive can take them.
