Ok, I am new at this so be patient.... I just bought a new HP Pav. Media Center. I am recording tv shows for my kids and trying to burn them on DVDs. The two shows I am trying to record are Disney's Kim Possible and What;s new Scooby Doo. Kim possible works (although I can only fit 90 minutes on a two hour disk), and Scooby Doo will record on the CPU but I get an error everytime I try to burn it on DVD. I get the same failure with I try to burn movies I recorded off of TV as well. I have been trying to trouble shoot it myself, but cannot figure out what the problem is. I believe my CPU is using "Sonic", unless "Media Center" has it's own software that I can't see.
    Please Help
    Thanks

The are set up to auto record, so the format should be the same (not sure which format, will check tonight). So why would one burn and not the other if they are the same format.
    Thanks for your help.

I can't find the exact file type, it is listed as "Microsoft Video File".

    How big are the files?

Use Vso DivxtoDVD (freeware version available at aD) to first convert the files to Dvd-files and then burn with Nero Burning Rom.
