I aquired some .ts files (HDTV rips) and I am able to play some using VLC 0.8.4a. The other ones don't have any video or audio. I open the file and the progress bar moves rapidly but nothing happens. I've tweaked around and got it to display just a grey screen about the size the video is supposed to be playing, but that's all I can get. Any ideas? Sorry if this is a repost, I tried searching for .ts but it's too short of a string for it to work. Thanks in advance!

Update: Videos (.ts files) work when I play them in WinDVD, but I cann't skip throughout the movie, it has to play all the way through. When I try to play the file in VLC, this is the output:

main error: option sub-original-fps does not exist

What does that mean? Any help? Thanks.

Update: I can play the files fine in VLC when the .srt (subtitle) files are not in the folder or any subfolder. Why is that?
