I have an extra PC that I just finished upgrading and putting back together, but I do not have a monitor for it. I will keep this one in my room which has 2 TVs. A Sharp Aquos 20" and an old 20" CRT. I will eventually get a flat panel, but I do not know exactly when.

The question is, will connecting the PC to the Aquos do any damage to it, like burn in static images and such?? The Aquos is very expensive to replace...

Also, I have yet to connect it so I do not know what it will look like (picturewise). I cannot find the resolution, but it has 921,600 dots VGA.

Here are the specs on the PC:

    P4 2.53GHz
    512MB PC1066 RDRAM
80GB HDD (will add another 160GB in a few minutes)
    ATI x700 Pro AGP

The Sharp has Component connections as well as S-Video.

I am currently using the Component for my DVD player, but I can switch that over to S-Video.

The Video card has an S-Video slot as well as an S-Video to Component adaptor.

Also, what recommended resolution should I set the PC to is the Aquos is safe to use?

    Thank you
