Hi I have been looking all over for a good ps2 light gun that supports 100hz tv's which I need to play some light gun games on here in the UK. Can anyone recommend a good ps2 light gun. I was thinking of getting the Scorpion 3 Light Gun which is for a good price and suports 100hz tvs but I have read some comments from people saying that the trigger is crap and becomes unresponsive after a short time.
Yeah, the people who complain about the Scorpion 3 are morons. ALL lightguns will have broken triggers if you abuse them enough. I've actually had a scorpion 3 for several months now, but every single time I play, I make sure to go as light on the trigger as possible. The scorpion 3 is a wonderful gun. It's a good price, and since no guns VIBRATE or cock or anything, I find it better than Namco's Guncon2. I've gone through enough lightguns. Basically, just don't smash the trigger every single time you shoot. Keep your finger very close to it, and press as gently as you can. Not only will this make your lightgun last for as long as possible before having to open it up and fix it, but it'll also help you shoot faster.
