I don't have an ipod like you young whippersnappers, and was hoping you could see if these files are satisfactory in terms of video and audio. There are 2 files zipped (6.2MB total). Both were converted using IMTOO mpeg encoder. 1 is from the vob and the other is from an avi of the same scene. file: http://www.mytempdir.com/926536 Thanks for your help!
If it was recoreded with IMTOO then it should be fine. The file won't play zipped of course, as long as they meet the following requirements its no problem: Video formats supported: H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Low-Complexity Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 768 Kbps, 320 by 240 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats Is it just me or did those specs change? 640 by 480 from 320x240?
Thanks for your response. Yes I believe I have seen the smaller resolution as well in a faq. Anyhow, for the following movie I want to upload an ipod version for the director: http://www.archive.org/details/The_Untitled_Star_Wars_Mockumentary http://imdb.com/title/tt0466264/ I'd just like to make sure the thing works.
