can sony fix bricked psps? even if u have to pay?
no obviously if it gets bricked then you have done something your not supposed to do, if the warrenty is still on the PSP then maybe you could take it back if it gets bricked.
but if u payed them wouldnt they just put 3.4 firmware on it?
nope because if it's bricked then you have probably tried to downgrade or something and made a mistake, Mod Chips do unbrick them but you would have to buy one and hire somebody to do install it for you because there very tricky to do.
is yours bricked or something?
no mine is not bricked im just really nervous about putting 3.4 O-EA on it, i live in aussie so im not sure if theyre is anyone who can install modchips
well if your nervous then just dont put it on. what is 3.4 O-EA anyway? don't call me a noob please i just don't actually know what it is. lol
its a custom firmware which allows you to play isos which need 3.4 firware there is only like a 1% chance but anyway
thats not true.a psp can be bricked by pulling the battery out while it is updating the legal sony firmware.there are other ways to brick the console too without doing something that your not supposed to.
well... you do need the firmware 3.4 on your psp to do this then dont you? if so then i have the firmware 3.4 on mine ( i'm stupid and really need a downgrader released ) i would try it for you first.
you need 1.5 firmware sorry its a custom firmware. and bailey is there anyway sony could find out what u were doin on the psp?
no but they can catch you out (if your extreamly stupid) for example if you had custom firmware 3.03 OE-A and then dicided you were going to update to official sony 3.10 firmware they can brick your console.
ok, but if i was going from 1.5 to 3.4 O-EA?
no they cant find out
ok ty very much very helpful
