Can SV4 update be installed on SV3

Any chance the SV4 latest upgrade can be installed on SV3 the B*X. Is the difference between them that great apart from the usb connection ??

 

all starview models have their own firmware so no u cant.

 

no unfortunately its a completely different firmware for both boxes apparently their not bringing out a fix for the older boxes

 

Seems like we are very close but no cigar...looks like I have a fancy new silver ornament with a green display

 

they make a great doorstop lol

 

I won't lose faith just yet,,The guys on this site have never yet been beaten and I am sure given time they will crack it. At least it improves the quality of the picture of the channels that are left. Will the non subscription channels stay available on this box or will I lose these over time also?

 

Everything will go when the full changeover happens. When that is no-one knows.
